In WWI many of the battles were fought in trenchs. Trenches were important because it block soldiers
from rivals artillery, and it helped them because it would not leave them in the open. The only down side
to trenches is that when soldiers were going in and out of the trench they were walking on their fellow soldiers who
have died.
